Demo of collection using the direct debit authorization on the Easytransac mobile application.
The Easytransac mobile application offers you several payment options in addition to the different collection methods available. Today, we will focus on the direct debit authorization.
The direct debit authorization allows you to authorize a customer's direct debit without transaction fees for a maximum of 6 days. During this period, the transaction will be kept on your Easytransac account and can be totally or partially debited (which will generate transaction fees) or cancelled* at any time. If after 6 days you have neither cashed out nor cancelled, the transaction is cancelled.
* By cancelling a direct debit authorization, the funds reserved on your client's account will be released in full, but a commission fee will still be applied to your account. This amount will then be deducted from your next collected transactions.
Step 1: Login to the Easytransac application.
Step 2: Click on "Touch to cash" and then choose the amount of the transaction.
Step 3: Choose your collection method and check the direct debit authorization.
Here, we will use the payment method via email payment link, but payment in installments is available for all payment methods.
Step Four: Complete your client's information.
You have the possibility to take information from your previous transactions or from your contacts by clicking on "choose a contact".
Step 5: Validate the summary of the transaction.
Step 6: Confirm the sending of your payment.
Whether you have used a face-to-face collection method or a payment link, your customer must validate a 3DSecure via their banking application or via a code received by SMS at the time of authorization (only for payment n°1).
You can find the transactions in direct debit authorization in the "My transactions" section followed by the word "authorized".
By clicking on the transaction you will be taken to a page where you can debit or cancel the transaction. It is possible to make a partial debit and then cancel the rest of the amount.
If you cancel the direct debit authorization, it will pass as a failed transaction* and if you debit it as a successful transaction.
* By cancelling a direct debit authorization, the funds reserved on your client's account will be released in full, but a commission fee will still be applied to your account. This amount will then be deducted from your next collected transactions.
